InsulaForm Insulating Concrete Forms (ICFs) are a construction material used in the building of commercial and residential structures, walls, floors, roofs, pools, and more. The modular forms are made of expanded polystyrene, commonly referred to as “Styrofoam”. InsulaForm panels interlock like common Lego blocks and connect with plastic ties and straps, creating stay in place concrete forms that are reinforced with rebar and filled with concrete.

Buildings made with InsulaForm ICF are more sustainable, energy efficient, disaster resistant, and sound absorbent than traditional wood frame buildings. The combination of these well-documented benefits leads to significant cost savings that quickly offset the initially higher cost of construction. A study prepared for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development estimates a 20% to 25% reduction in annual heating and cooling costs.
